Wat Samien Nari is a beautiful temple Insight Bangkok 's Chatuchak district.
A real eye catcher is the large Ubosot with standing Buddha images in the front and the back and large elephant statues in the front of the building. Behind the Ubosot is the Viharn with a Sanchrachai Buddha image amongst three other images. This is the building most worshippers visit.We particularly liked the style of mural paintings in the Viharn. The temple also contains a relic of the Buddha from Sri Lanka which is located to the side of the Ubosot in a large tent-like structure. Collages of pictures inform about the ceremonies held to commemorate bringing the relics to the temple
